Sometimes your style of leadership is not for everybody. I had a philosophy that I didn’t want to micro-manage staff.
I wanted staff that we’re able to work on their own, be self-motivated and in return, I gave staff the flexibility to come and go in the office as they pleased.
So here is a funny story, I offered a job to a lady once who was great, but the flexibility was not her thing, she really wanted structure and that was not my style.
